Degree Requirements

The Baylor coursework is carefully designed so that students have the opportunity to first acquire knowledge in a traditional classroom setting, and then apply that knowledge to practice in a practicum experience at Baylor CARE, Baylor’s ABA Community Clinic at the Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities. 

The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified courses in this program toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to sit for the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst® examination.

• *EDP 5393 Cultural Issues with Children and Families 

• EDP 5V98 Practicum in Applied Behavior Analysis (enrolled for 3 semesters) 

• One of the following: 

  • EDP 5333 Psychology of Learning 

  • EDP 5332 Human Growth and Development 

* The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified these courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.
