Graduate programs in the Department of Educational Psychology offer small classes, mentor relationships with research-focused faculty, and strong job prospects for graduates.

Baylor's graduate program in Educational Psychology is quickly becoming a top program according to rankings compiled by Academic Analytics. Data released in 2016 indicates that Baylor's Educational Psychology program ranks in the top quartile of programs nationally, which places Baylor’s program among others such as Stanford University and Indiana University Bloomington.

In the most recent study released in 2016, Academic Analytics evaluated the research activity for over 60 similar programs across the country. Baylor's Educational Psychology program ranked in the top quartile for total book publications per faculty, the percentage of faculty with an article, and in the number of citations per faculty member. This is particularly impressive when you consider the size of the program,  with only eleven full-time faculty, as compared to programs with twenty and thirty.
